Overview

Arts Well: Grow is a programme of development for people interested in arts, health and wellbeing.

Join Jayne Howard for an engaging and supportive online session exploring the Creative Health Quality Framework—a practical tool designed to support excellence, safety and effectiveness in creative health practice.

Funded by Arts Council England and developed by creative health consultant Jane Willis, the Creative Health Quality Framework offers a shared set of principles to help structure, strengthen and reflect on creative health work. This session focuses on exploring the framework together, building confidence in how it can be used to enhance your own practice as a creative health professional.

Through discussion, reflection and shared learning, we’ll introduce the eight Creative Health Quality Principles and explore how the downloadable resources can support safe, ethical and high-quality projects across a range of settings.

The session is led by Jayne Howard, Director of Arts Well CIC, who brings over 20 years’ experience working in arts and health at both operational and strategic levels. Jayne is known for creating thoughtful, inclusive learning spaces and is also Programme Manager at the National Centre for Creative Health, a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs and the Royal Society of Arts, and an Associate Member of the Royal Society for Public Health.

Previous participants describe these sessions as practical, generous and inspiring:

“The workshops were educational, practical and enlightening. They were a great place to learn.”

“Really useful information and advice. Focusing, positive and galvanising.”

“Very informative and beautifully delivered. Outstanding!”

“Great to have all the information and links sent through afterwards. Very generous.”

Sessions take place on Zoom, with small groups of 4–16 participants, allowing plenty of time for discussion, reflection and questions, with a strong emphasis on helping you put your learning into practice.

To ensure accessibility, sessions are available at a range of price points, including a donation option, so everyone can take part whatever their circumstances.
