Introducing the opportunity of the South Kyle Investment Fund for Patna

Vattenfall is building South Kyle Wind Farm in East Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway. Once completed the development will generate a community investment fund for the local area - worth an estimated £38million over 25 years.

Our 'Inform and Inspire' online workshops will be the first in a series of opportunities for local people to discuss what they’d like the fund to achieve, and will build on our earlier online poll. To help facilitate this community conversation, Vattenfall is partnering with Foundation Scotland, a charity that supports developers and communities set up and implement community benefit funds, tailored to local needs, capacity and ambitions.

We’ve already had a great response to the online poll and now want to begin informing and inspiring each other about what a South Kyle Community Investment Fund can achieve and how. These sessions will start that discussion, followed by others focusing on specific themes and issues relevant to local community plans.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the initial sessions will be held on Zoom.
