Introduction Talk

Welcome talk and introduction, which will outline what to expect over the coming months and details on how to get involved, alongside a quick Q&A, all expected to finish before 1.30, starting at 1:15.

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Greenscreen Photography (inc props)

The greenscreen stage will be set up for photography with a variety of sci-fi props available. No shoes to be worn on the greenscreen flooring itself. A chance to preview the VP Stage

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Board games social

A variety of board games will be left out for people to play with and socialise with alongside a snack table

An introduction session and social event for staff and students, where we will introduce the digital aquarium and its upcoming workshops and facilities. Digital aquarium events and materials are only for students and staff within the University of Lincoln.

At 1:15 pm, there will be a 20-minute introduction to the Digital Aquarium and Sandbox immersive studio outlining what to expect over the coming year. Afterwards, a number of activities will be available to act as a social break for students and staff alike.

There will be some board games, VR games and snacks made available alongside a chance to find out more about upcoming Digital Aquarium sessions and join the community.

What if I turn up late i.e. after 1:15pm introduction talk?

Do not worry, you are free to pop in and out as you see fit, and details will always be available online at www.digital-aquarium.com

What food or drink will be on offer?

There will only be basic snacks on offer, these will include: Orange Juice, Apple Juice and some sweets. On this one occasion, food and drink will be permitted in this space, but this won't normally be the case. If you have food or drink with you, please ensure you clear up after yourselves :)

Is it all free?

Yes

What games will be on offer?

Board games will include: Exploding Kittens, Uno Extreme and a few others. These are owned by the event organiser.
