Introduction to Allergen Management and Control - Webinar

This introductory webinar for food and drink manufacturers will give an overview of how to successfully manage allergens on site. The webinar will provide an understanding of what foods commonly cause allergic reactions and explain the possible consequences of poor allergen management.

Learners will have an opportunity to understand how manufacturers can comply with relevant allergen management and labelling legislation and there will be lots of practical examples throughout the session to help businesses effectively manage allergens on site.The webinar is ideal for anyone responsible for food safety or control of allergens within a small to medium sized business. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask one of our technologists questions and the session will also provide an overview of the technical support available from ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre.

The event will last approximately 1 hour (30 minute presentation and 30 minute Q&A session) and will take place via Zoom. You will receive an email with details of how to join prior to the event.

Bydd y weminar ragarweiniol hon i wneuthurwyr bwyd a diod yn rhoi trosolwg ar sut i reoli alergenau’n llwyddiannus ar y safle. Bydd y weminar yn darparu dealltwriaeth o ba fwydydd sy’n achosi adweithiau alergaidd gan amlaf ac yn esbonio canlyniadau posibl rheoli alergenau’n wael.

Bydd dysgwyr yn cael cyfle i ddeall sut y gall gwneuthurwyr gydymffurfio â deddfwriaeth berthnasol ar reoli a labelu alergenau a bydd llawer o enghreifftiau ymarferol trwy gydol y sesiwn i helpu busnesau reoli alergenau’n effeithiol ar y safle.

Mae’r weminar yn ddelfrydol ar gyfer unrhyw un sy’n gyfrifol am ddiogelwch bwyd neu reoli alergenau mewn busnesau bach neu ganolig. Bydd mynychwyr yn cael y cyfle i ofyn cwestiynau i un o’n technolegwyr a bydd y sesiwn hefyd yn darparu trosolwg o’r gefnogaeth dechnegol sydd ar gael gan Ganolfan Diwydiant Bwyd ZERO2FIVE.
