This two half-day workshop will offer insights into careers in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Language Therapy, along with guidance on applying to University.
The content has been developed by trained Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech and Language Therapists in the UK.
The 5 different webinars across the two days will feature dialogue, videos, and discussions, with opportunities for participants to ask questions throughout. If time constraints prevent us from addressing all questions, a question-and-answer document will be provided after each session.
The workshop will involve interactive work experiences designed to enhance understanding of assessments and their importance in Allied Health roles. This awareness and knowledge are crucial for demonstrating understanding of role expectations and responsibilities when applying to university and during interviews. Each session will be supported by a workbook, offering opportunities to develop reflective practice skills. Being a reflective practitioner, continually striving to improve the quality of work, is essential in the Allied Health professional sphere and is also emphasized at the university level.
