The Open University as part of Institute of Coding project (https://instituteofcoding.open.ac.uk/) is running a number of workshop to work with Industry and communities to help in understanding the employability gap and skills needed to support current and future businesses and communities. The Institute of Coding is a large national project that includes over 20 HEIs and 60 Industrial partners that start in March 2018.

No knowledge of the area is required to attend the workshop but an interest in future employment skills needed to provide a sustainable competitive workforce and social cohesion. We are very interested in the requirement drivers and views from the Milton Keynes local businesses and communities to help us to develop appropriate resources and access to these key skills to ensure an inclusive access to the knowledge and skills in these advancing technical areas that impact most, if not all of us.
