Frequently asked questions

What should I wear

Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoors i.e. trousers, sturdy boots etc. We suggest blue loose jeans (not tight) and not black - bees do not like black!

Is there somewhere where we can buy food?

Please bring a packed lunch. There are lots of tables and chairs dotted around our site which can be used. We will be offering coffee/tea over the lunch period

Is there somewhere local we can stay?

Forest Garden Shovelstrode offers luxury camping in one of our 2 yurts or 4 hand crafted cabins. Please refer to our website and click on the accommodation section

Will you be selling honey?

Our tutor for the day, Oliver generally has honey for sale. It is not always guaranteed as we may have run out of supplies
