Join us for a comprehensive beginners course where you will learn the theory of beekeeping and hands on methods of caring for bees in an urban environment with our resident beekeeper Mark Patterson aka Api:Cultural @apiculturalLdn.
You will split your time between our indoor classroom and training apiary where Mark will guide you through the history of bees and beekeeping and explore practical tips for learning to care for bees by yourself.
Attendees will need to attend both Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm for the full course; which also includes regular voluntary apiary sessions throughout the year.
