About the Workshop

Our one day Introduction to Botanical Casting Workshop will give you the opportunity to spend the morning learning the various techniques needed to create a beautiful floral plaster cast and experimenting with your first practice cast.

We have a 1 hour break for lunch, this is not included however, you are welcome to bring your own or visit the on site farm shop and cafe. There is also a country store (Fawcetts) and a garden centre (Woodcrest) on site to explore during the break time if you wish.

After lunch we will retrurn to for our afternoon session, we will look at the outcome of the morning makes before moving forward to creating a second, masterpiece cast. While we are waiting for this to harden you will get the opportunity to explore various options for finishing the plaster plaque and have a hands on go at painting a thrid pre-made cast.

About Our Studio

The Creative Ewe Studio is located inside the Craft Barn at Greenlands Farm, Carnforth. We are just 5 minutes from J35 of the M6. It is the building directly in front as you come through the entrance to the car park off the main road. There are doors at either end of the building and we can be found half way down opposite Fawcetts Country Store, look out for our sheep signs! The studio and the access to it is all on one level, there are wide doorways and disable toilet facilities. Our workshop groups are kept small with a maximum of 8 participants and out aim is to be fully inclusive.

Parking on site is free of charge, on busy days you may be required to park in the overflow car park. There are also electric car charging points in the main car park.
