Breathe with Ease: An Introduction to Breathwork

Take a moment for yourself and discover the power of Breathwork in this Introduction to Breathwork workshop at Still Space Hull.

Whether you're new to Breathwork or have some experience, this session will guide you through simple, effective breathing techniques to help manage stress, enhance emotional well-being, and increase relaxation.

In this 2-hour session, you'll:

  • Learn foundational breathing practices to use in your daily life for emotional balance and stress management.
  • Experience a 40-minute guided breathwork journey to music, helping you connect more deeply with yourself and explore relaxation at a deeper level.
  • Time to chat, share your experiences (if you want to) and connect with others over a cuppa and cake afterwards.

Bring your yoga mat, blanket, a notebook, and water, and give yourself the gift of 2 hours dedicated completely to YOU.

This workshop is open to everyone, no matter your level of experience.

Join us for a nurturing and calming morning... breathe, relax, and explore!

Frequently asked questions

What is Conscious Breathwork

Conscious Breath is a specific Breathwork technique that we use to connect with our highest, truest, wisest, and kindest self. We use it to shine a light on those parts of us which may be hidden or that we may have forgotten.

Is it safe for everyone?

There are some contraindications to consider as this type of breath changes the chemistry of your blood, specifically the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide, however this is not exclusive, there are modifications we can make if you have any health considerations.

Are there any contraindications?

The early stages of pregnancy or if you have an unstable pregnancy Schizophrenia, bipolar, or if you're taking anti-psychotic medications Epilepsy or a history of seizures Heart conditions, extremes of blood pressure, strokes or aneurysm (heart or brain) Glaucoma Recent abdominal surgery.

Is there a specific way to breathe?

Conscious Connected Breath is a particular technique which we will demonstrate to you in the session, but this is just one of many ways to breathe. There are modifications that can be made if you are not comfortable. At all times you are in control of your experience and well being.

Who is facilitating the session?
