Description

Introduction to Buddhism: Buddhism in a Nutshell

DAY COURSE with Jane and Jo

SAT | 10 AUG | 10:00 - 17:00

/ABOUT

Join Jane and Jo for a day course introducing Buddhist history, theory and practice based on the well structured FPMT introductory course Buddhism in a Nutshell.

Participants will learn about the life of the Buddha and its relevance to our lives now and a little about Buddhist history and its spread to Tibetan. They will get an overview of the key methods to open up our heart with compassion and wisdom and learn why Buddhists think that the unenlightened life is not the only option available to us. They will also learn why we think the opportunity to live a fully enlightened life is available to all by being a part of our very nature.

/FACILITATORS

Facilitated by Jane Sill and Jo Gillebrand, two Jamyang recognised course facilitators who have studied the five year FPMT Basic Programme at Jamyang London.
