Learn about the Building for Life 12 toolkit, including its history, how it works and how you can embed it into your everyday practice to improve design quality on the ground.
Building for Life 12 is the industry standard, endorsed by Government, for well-designed homes and neighbourhoods that local communities, local authorities and developers are invited to use to stimulate conversations about creating good places to live.
The course introduces and explores the role and operation of the Building for Life toolkit, including the easy to use traffic light system, to quickly and easily assess design quality. The toolkit allows development teams and planning authorities to indentify and focus on elements of a scheme which are underperforming, and how they could be improved.
This event is free to Kent Design members within their membership package allocation. Kent Design Members can book places by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
