Description
This virtual course will cover the practical aspects of performing a cardiac MRI (CMR) examination. Presentations will cover CMR relevant physics, cardiac anatomy, scanning planes, ECG gating and image optimisation, as well as clinical topics such as cardiomyopathy, ischaemic heart disease and Adenosine stress examinations.
This course has received CPD now endorsement from the Society of Radiographers.
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at radiographers currently working in MRI who are new to CMR and those who would just like to refresh their knowledge.

Objectives
After attending this course delegates should:
be able to identify the different scanning planes and cardiac anatomy
have a practical understanding of how to perform a CMR examination
have a better appreciation of the physical principles behind different image acquisition techniques
be able to deal with more challenging scenarios and correct common image artefacts
