  • People new to chickens and might need basic information
  • Families: Children and adults could enjoy learning together
  • Those with limited space may want tips on raising chickens

2. Content

A brief informal introduction to Chickens:

  • Basic information on keeping chickens, coops, run space, feeding, welfare etc.
  • Overview of chicken breeds. Large fowls, hybrids and bantams.
  • The basics of chicken anatomy and behaviors
  • Interaction with the our hens, Hybrids, Bantams, possibly Silkies, Polish and Pekin hens
  • Have a look at our "Chick Inn", "Hen Hotel", "Cluckingham Palace" and our "Mamma Mia!" themed run area, where we look after holiday hens, rabbits and guinea pigs.
