Who’s it for?
Anyone who would like to improve their coaching skills to increase motivation, empower your staff and improve performance.
To demonstrate coaching in action and appreciation that the coach does not need to be seen as ‘the expert’ to improve motivation and attainment of goals. Overview of strength based development.
Coaching v telling and the impact on personal motivation (push/ pull communications)
Listening and Questioning skills to use the GROW model effectively
Demonstration of coaching in action – discussion around the coach not needing to be the ‘expert’
Skill practise coaching with peers and giving and receiving feedback
Strength based coaching and developing the talents of those you manage
What’s in it?
A facilitator led session with discussion and group interaction with active participation. The facilitator will use a variety of teaching styles and learning methods. Hand-outs/workbook will be provided to reinforce activities, and each delegate will be signposted to ‘Now, discover your Strengths’ evaluator.

The Chamber is affiliated to Scottish Chambers of Commerce making it part of the UK and international network.
