About this event
A chance to get some basic understanding and training into the world of coffee and barista work. Training will be held by Usman, founder of HAVEN Coffee, a social enterprise serving ethically sourced, fair-trade, organic cup of sepciality coffee to local comunities with a social missions of breaking the false narratives around refugees in the society with the help of Arts.
This short course includes;
- Intro & brief history of coffee
- Different types of Barista drinks and the difference between them
- Familiarising with coffee machine and different terminologies
- Cleaning of machine
- Explaining the use and importance of grinder and dial in process
- Talking through the dosage amount and showing how to pour a shot
- Milk frothing technique
- Hands on practice
This course makes a great addition to the CV. The participants will also receive a certificate posted to them after attending the course
