Introduction workshop for individuals & teams to understand & experience the theory & practice of our Collective Leadership offer

About this event

All Collective Leadership for Scotland events are participatory and have participant engagement at their heart. Therefore, access to a microphone and ideally a video-camera is a requirement to participate in this session.

About the Session:

We know we face many complex issues that require a collective response: addressing the attainment gap; children’s wellbeing and mental health; child poverty; mental health needs; reducing inequalities in healthy life expectancy; climate change etc.

We also know that no single Government policy area, community, organisation or agency can tackle these alone. We understand that we must work collectively to effect change, and that this work is often complex, messy, unpredictable and difficult to achieve. We know that creating the time and space to work collectively can be challenging. Day to day work can override our best intentions, and we can remain stuck in our traditional habits and ways of thinking and doing.

Collective Leadership for Scotland is hosting 2-hour workshops for individuals and teams to understand and experience the theory and practice of our Collective Leadership offer, and to explore what supports us to work well in complexity.

If you're interested in the practice of collective leadership, and you want to learn more, this is the workshop for you.

After completing this introduction taster workshop, you might be interested in coming along to the second workshop in this series ‘Collective Leadership Practice: Where to Start’, which will focus on the practice of collective leadership.
