Event Details

Through theoretical and practical classes the course provides you with a solid understanding of how music works in a movie through an examination of film music functions, syntax and styles. We encourage you to explore your personal compositional voice as well as develop versatility by investigating different musical genres; and show you how to use the relevant technology and get the most out of musical and studio resources.

This is a 10 week course running on Thursday evenings 6.30-8.30pm commencing 20th April, with two classes in the final week on Thursday 15th and Friday 16th June 2017.
