A relaxed and friendly workshop, ideal for people who want to make compost at home or on their allotment. We will cover:

  • the basic science of composting, and why home-made compost is so good for the soil
  • how to make great compost from a range of materials
  • rat-proofing your composter
  • troubleshooting common issues (smells, pests), and advice on how to make composting an enjoyable process
