Introduction to Content Marketing
Thu 24 November 2016, 09:30 – 13:30 GMT
We're excited to continue our premium events this autumn, organised in partnership with Oxfordshire Business Support (OBS) from OxLEP.
We've had outstanding feedback from similar courses.
Discounts of up to 90 per cent are available for SMEs throughout Oxfordshire.
Introduction to Content Marketing explains the right (and wrong) way to use content to grow for business.
It's a combination of
- the latest, smartest ideas from leading content marketers
- two decades working with the world's leading brands
- a wealth of experience coaching startups and SMEs
delivered as a series of straightforward, easy-to-understand tips that build on each other.
No prior knowledge or experience of content marketing is required. We start from scratch.
The day begins with your Reframe. What's the point of content marketing? Should you aim to be a thought leader – or is there a smarter approach? How does it prepare the ground for your sales activity?
We then consider your Content. What should you be producing? Who are the target audience? What's the value in the content for them? Where should you post it?
It's then time for Persuasion. How can you write in an engaging way? What can social psychology tell us about leaving a lasting impression on our followers?
We finish with Automation. How do we make the most of our investment in content marketing? Which services can we use to save time and money?
At the end of the morning, we make sure everyone leaves knowing what one thing could transform their content marketing in a day, in a week and in a month.
The course is specifically designed to give Oxfordshire firms a competitive advantage, by providing access to the latest theories and unbeatable experience – as well as a unique, proven approach to content marketing.
Please note that the total fee of £300 is reduced to £30 if you qualify as an Oxfordshire SME. These figures include VAT.
We'll also pay your Eventbrite fees if you book more than two weeks in advance (choose the Early Bird ticket).
Please ask your accountant about reclaiming the VAT and offseting the cost against your tax. We are happy to issue a certificate of attendance that fulfils the CPD requirements of most professional associations.
The course is given by Justin Jackson, who is a well known business trainer with a background in digital, marketing and public relations. He owns Digital Remit and has taught at a number of institutions, including the University of Oxford.
This event is part funded by Oxfordshire Business Support (OBS) from OxLEP.
We are delighted that our partnership with OBS allows us to offer a limited number of tickets at a huge discount. If you are interested in applying for this discount, please visit http:/dgtl.to/obsmkt to find out more.
