This session you will help you gain confidence in discussing contraception with young people by:
o Understanding the different contraception methods and options available
o Knowing what advice to give and where the local sexual health services are
o Gaining tools to help you feel confident when talking about contraception with young people

Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) is the UK's leading HIV and Sexual Health Charity.
In Suffolk we are working in partnership with Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust to deliver outreach services to people living with HIV (PLWHIV), young people, men who have sex with men, black and minority ethnic groups and others who are at an increased risk of poorer sexual health.
We have a particular focus on providing outreach testing for the National Chlamydia Screening Programme, condom scheme (c-card) registration and condom distribution, HIV point-of-care testing and behaviour change communications with hard-to-reach groups. Our team also provide social support for PLWHIV and give advice on subjects such as benefit entitlement, housing, debt and immigration.
Our services are delivered across the county with training offered in Ipswich, Lowestoft and Bury St. Edmunds.
