React Native is a new (some would say: revolutionary) way of writing quality mobile applications. In this course we want to give you basic familiarity with the subject, so that you’ll be able to deliver a simple app yourself. That will give you perspective on feasibility of this technology for your needs and a good starting point to explore it more in depth.
In this course we’ll first go through how to setup your environment to start your first project, then cover basic ideas of React: working with components and their state, structuring an application. Afterwards we’ll go through some mobile-specific techniques like using native SDKs in your code and handling navigation. Finally we’d do a basic introduction to Redux, which is the most common architecture for React (both web and mobile) applications.
