Event description
This workshop will explore the Cyanotype Printing Technique, experimenting with your own ideas to create unique prints on paper.

About this Event

Often described as one of the oldest forms of Photography, Cyanotype Printing is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print, frequently referred to as a 'blue-print'.

In this workshop you will learn about the process of making a cyanotype 'blue-print', whilst developing your own original and unique prints using anything from everyday household items, to flowers and leaves.

Each participant will make a selection of prints on paper.

All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own inspiration in the form of found items, plants, flowers etc. The possibilities are endless!

Please be aware that you will be taking home semi-wet prints.

(Carrier bags will be provided)

To read more about what to expect on one of my workshops, head over to Jo Fisher Writes to read her lovely review.

This workshop is suitable for ages 12+, anyone under 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
