Event description

Description

Cyanotypes are a Victorian photographic process using light sensitive paper which produces beautiful blue prints when exposed to sunlight. Working with a range of objects you will create photograms by arranging these on the light sensitive paper.

After an introduction to the process and its history and a demonstration of how to create your images, you will work with pre-coated cyanotype papers to create photographic prints using sunlight to expose your images and water to develop
them. At the end of the two hour session you will leave with a range of prints.

This workshop will be lead by Sally Gunnett, an artist who works with alternative photography and printmaking techniques and has over ten years of teaching experience.
