About this event

An Introduction to Dance Movement Therapy Practice - Intrinsic belief in the inter-relationship between psyche, soma and spirit as evidenced in the potential held in creative processes.

In the UK, Dance Movement Therapy now uses the term psychotherapy, to recognise the essential link between body, mind, psyche and soul. DMP uses movement creatively within a therapeutic relationship. This workshop will explore some of the key concepts that underpin Dance Movement Psychotherapy. The course will be delivered through presentation, discussion and practical exercises. No dance experience is required to attend this workshop.
