Event description

Description

***YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF STAFF AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BRIGHTON TO BOOK ON THIS WORKSHOP***

Would benefit: academic staff with some experience or understanding of research impact.

Building an impact profile requires researchers and institutions to evidence the contribution and the difference that is made. This session would help researchers to understand why evidence is important, including when and how it could/should be collected as well as learning to evaluate your own impact evidence. Also to consider some tips on how to embed evidence gathering and monitoring into the research process. What other metrics could be applied? How difficult/challenging are such metrics to capture? What issues arise in identifying and evidencing impact in different disciplines?

Previous feedback: "I have already recommended this to a colleague as one of the best in-house training sessions I have attended…everyone must attend in order to develop, design and work on impact driven research.”
