Ever wanted to try embroidery but not sure where to start? Come along and learn the basics of this relaxing and fun craft!
Choose from several nature-themed designs and start your very own creative project. You will be guided through every step by an experienced embroidery tutor. Suitable for complete beginners and upwards.
All materials are provided for the duration of the class. If you'd like to take home the equipment to continue at home, we ask for a £5 donation :)
About the tutor:
Jasmine is an embroidery and textiles artist working and living in Edinburgh. Her work has centred on the natural environment since the beginning and she continues to find unending motivation in the unique ecosystems of Scotland. Jasmine’s work is also deeply enriched by her experience of disability and desire to improve access to the arts for all.
Donation:
There's an optional donation to go towards the running costs of the classes - Eventbrite requires £1 to be entered in the box but we can refund that in cash when you attend the class. It stops people booking up all the free tickets then not showing up!
If you're happy to donate, that would be a great help, as our funding doesn't cover the admin costs of organising these classes :)
