About this event

  • 2 hours

We are really excited to get back in the studio and welcome back Leeds based textile artist and teacher Elnaz Yazdani for a beginners embroidery workshop.

You will be guided through a variety of beautiful hand embroidery techniques and stitches using an array of different coloured threads to create your own unique piece of thread art.

All materials are included and you will take away a kit including, needle and some thread to carry on stitching at home.

All the stitches you learn you can apply to any cloth, item of clothing or accessory so you can carry on stitching beyond the workshop.

Embroidery is also a great way to keep calm and reduce stress levels so come and enjoy the meditative wonders of the process of embroidery here at our lovely textile studio.

Hot drinks & biscuits included
