INTRODUCTION TO EMOTIONAL AGILITY FOR LEADERS

Optimising Well-being and Performance with Values-Based Action

Join me for an engaging and practical online workshop designed for Business and HR Leaders and Managers.

Emotional agility is a crucial skill for leaders working in changing and high-pressure work environments. The way we navigate our emotions affects our actions, leadership of teams, relationships with others and how we work under stress. Many of us experience great moments at work and times of stress, strain and chaos. Emotional agility helps leaders to reduce the impact and influence of difficult thoughts and feelings whilst taking action to work meaningfully and effectively. The essence of emotional agility is to take action guided by your core values and being the leader that you want to be.

In this two-hours workshop we'll cover:

  • The importance of emotional agility (explore how emotional agility helps leaders deal with overwhelm, stress and difficult situations/relationships)
  • The key role emotions play at work and in leadership (learn about how our emotions affect our behaviour and impact at work)
  • Actionable steps for self-leadership (explore tools and strategies you can use in your work when facing difficult situations to build your leadership effectiveness).

Through interactive exercises and expert-led discussion, you'll learn some introductory tools in how to become a more self-aware and effective leader. This includes being clearer about ourselves as leaders - how we respond to stressful situations and how we work as leaders. Leave the workshop feeling more focused and clearer about your values, emotions and triggers. This workshop includes a PDF action planner, exercise booklet and some activities before and after the workshop to encourage application to your work.

This workshop runs with a maximum of 10 participants to encourage conversation and space to think. Delivered by Nicola Butcher - an ICF Accredited Leadership Coach, Chartered Organisational Psychologist and Coaching Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
