This online training is for Herefordshire based services/organisations. It is aimed at frontline staff, volunteers, community workers, councillors - or anyone who supports households/communities who may be at risk of fuel poverty.

The training is fully certified by the CPD Certification Service and will count towards any CPD goals of staff/volunteers.


This is a 2 hr 15 min online training session. By the end of this session, you will be able to:

•Explain what fuel poverty is and how it comes about

•Explain some of the key health and wellbeing impacts of fuel poverty and cold homes

•Identify factors that impact home energy efficiency

•Give basic energy advice to improve energy welfare

•Signpost or refer householders to appropriate support and funding
