This is the third and final of three parts of the Introduction to Enterprise workshops on the Outset programme.
About this event
On Day Three we will cover:
• Elevator pitches- we'll cover what they are and give you an opportunity to practice a pitch
• Financial documents- introducing you to the different financial documents and terminology.
• Record keeping, pricing, business banking and other useful finance information
• Types of Finance- what sources of finance are available and which type may be the most appropriate for you.
• Business plans- what they look like, how to write one and how you can use our online tools to put one together.
• Company structure- the different types of company structures and registering as a business.
• Outset Online- we explain what Outset Online is, what extra resources you can access on the platform and how you can use it to create a business plan.

Are you eligible to attend?
You must be based in Portsmouth, postcodes PO1 to PO6 and fill in your full name and address details during the Eventbrite registration process.
You must have completed a client enrolment form before attending the workshop. If we do not receive it in good time it may mean that we are unable to send you the Zoom details to access the workshop.
The Zoom details for the workshop will be sent to you the day before the workshop takes place.

Outset Start and Grow is a new, intensive programme of structured business support and grants, funded by the Community Renewal Fund (CRF) and Portsmouth City Council.
The programme is focussed on regenerating communities and enabling more people to benefit from economic growth through investment in skills, enterprise and employment.
Portsmouth City Council received funding from the CRF for this new business support and grant programme, which will be delivered across its region by Outset Start and Grow. It will equip new and existing enterprises with the business skills they need for sustainable growth and creating new jobs.
