Tuesday 30th March: Introduction to Entrepreneurship - Problem Validation
Session Objective: Develop a wider and deeper set of innovation skills by exploring problem validation.

Session 1 - Tuesday 16th March: Identifying Business Opportunities
Session Objective: Understand the types of business opportunities and understand how the course ahead will help you to develop the skills needed to refine and develop future ideas.
Session 2 - Tuesday 23rd March: Introduction to Innovation
Session Objective: Understand the principles behind innovation and how they can be used to help develop and drive potential business ideas.
Session 4 - Tuesday 20th April: Solution Ideation
Session Objective: Learn the meaning of ideation and expand on your findings from session 3 by exploring the ideation process further and practising solution ideation techniques.
Session 5 - Tuesday 27th April: Testing
Session Objective: Develop the innovation techniques needed to test your solutions. You’ll also learn to implement continuous testing to your business idea or concept and consider how to build your MVP.
Session 6 - Tuesday 4th May: Understanding your Market
Session Objective: Learn to analyse potential markets for your business venture, identify competitors and carry out market research.
Session 7- Tuesday 11th May: Crafting a Business Model
Session Objective: Take your business idea to the next level by learning how to craft a comprehensive business model.
Session 8 - Tuesday 18th May: Pitching your Venture
Session Objective: Session Objective: Learn the different funding options for your venture, such as start up business grants. Discover how you can share your entrepreneurial vision with external stakeholders by building and improving your business pitching skills.
Is the TwinklHive Business Programme right for me?
The TwinklHive Business Programme includes 8 weekly interactive sessions of 1 hour in length, including drop-in sessions for extra support. The programme is tailored specifically to young entrepreneurs (16+) or people at the start of their entrepreneurial journey and we’d encourage anyone with a business idea who’d like support developing it to enrol. The course will cover essential aspects of starting up a business, from validating customer problems and testing prototypes to creating an innovative business model and delivering a great pitch.
Is the TwinklHive Business Programme right for me?
The free online programme is made up of eight interactive sessions, spanning 10 weeks between March and May and is tailored to support individuals interested in entrepreneurship.
This comprehensive programme introduces essential elements needed to successfully plan a start-up business and is designed to:
- Provide a step by step approach on how to start a business from the ground up.
- Inspire the generation of new business ideas.
- Share insights and advice with start-up founders wanting to go back to basics.
- Provide a learning opportunity for anyone who is interested in business and entrepreneurship.
Once attendees have completed the programme, they’ll be invited to pitch their business idea to the TwinklHive panel for expert feedback.
Furthermore, some attendees may be eligible for investment in the form of a business grant from TwinklHive Scholarship Scheme.
