Event description

Description

Learn why cultured/fermented foods are beneficial to your health, along with a taster session and practical workshop so you can make make your own jar to take home.

Arrive 10am for refreshments, 10:30am start, finishes at 12.30pm

This workshop will introduce you to the mysterious yet simple art of fermented foods. It’s an age-old practice which has been forgotten over the years as industrialisation kicked in.

Fermented foods are extremely beneficial for optimal immune function, helping us to balance our healthy gut flora.

We’ll introduce you to the how’s, what’s and why’s of fermentation. You’ll get to taste some delicious samples and also make up your own jar of cultured vegetables to take home.

Spaces are strictly limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!

If you book and are then unable to attend, please email info@togetheragainstcancer.org.uk so that your place can be offered to someone else.

Arrival from 10am for refreshments, ready for a prompt start at 10:30am. The workshop ends at 12.30pm

There is free parking on site either directly outside the centre and in any unmarked spaces on the business park.

Please note the following:

1. Together Against Cancer (TAC) is a registered charity and offers this workshop on a free or by donation basis (donatons may be made on the day and are entirely voluntary).

2. The workshop is open to everyone over the age of 18.
