Introduction to Finance

This session provides an overview of Finance at Cancer Research UK. By the end of the course you should be able to:

– Understand and correctly use common financial terminology

– Understand financial processes at CRUK

– Be able to interpret financial information (Management Accounts, Forecasts, Budgets)

– Understand how budgets ought to be managed

– Understand the importance of cost management

Suitable for those who want a recap on Finance/Budget Management or have recently undertaken Budget Holder responsibility, as part of their role.
