Who is this training for?

This training is for voluntary sector organisations, including charities and social enterprises with a registered address in the county of Leicestershire, specifically:

This session is aimed at committee members of small charities and community groups who are charged with responsibility for financial management.

This course gives you an opportunity to gain confidence in completing cash books, bank reconciliations, and manage petty cash.

What this training covers?

  • Understand the purpose of financial management
  • Explain ‘good’ financial management
  • Understand how to record income / expenditure in a cashbook
  • Understand how to reconcile bank statements against a cashbook
  • Understand petty cash systems
  • Understand how Online Accounting can save time and add value

How to access the training

This session will be delivered on Zoom. The link to join will be sent out closer to the time of the event.

Please note, this training is free of charge to groups within Leicestershire who have County beneficiaries. Groups with solely City beneficiaries, or from outside Leicester are still welcome to attend, but a charge of £30.00 per attendee will apply.
