This course invites you to embark on an inspiring journey into the timeless art of ancient fire lighting. Fire has been a cornerstone of human civilisation, offering warmth, protection, and the ability to nourish ourselves.

You will discover a range of traditional techniques, from the precision of flint and steel to the rhythmic motion of the bow drill and the essence of friction-based methods.

As we explore the cultural significance of fire in ancient societies, you'll uncover the profound wisdom that different cultures imparted about this vital skill.

Engaging in hands-on workshops will empower you to master these techniques in a safe, supportive environment, fostering both practical abilities and a deep appreciation for human ingenuity and our connection to the natural world.
