Introduction to Fundraising
Event Information
Description
This intensive and engaging workshop draws on materials from the National Arts Fundraising School, offering a taster of Europe’s leading fundraising development opportunity. During the course you’ll be introduced to key strategic tools to help shape the unique fundraising value proposition of your organisation and communicate it effectively to a range of donors. You’ll also gain advice on building an impactful case for support, identifying which of the five key fundraising streams is best fitted to your needs. Finally, we’ll help you understand how to organise your ideas into a bold strategy using the =mc seven stage model.
Who should attend?
The day will be suitable for anyone with:
- an overarching responsibility for non-institutional fundraising, development, or marketing.
- specific responsibility for an area of private philanthropy or investment such as corporate, foundations or individuals.
The is probably less suitable for individuals with little understanding of fundraising or marketing. It will be fast and furious.
The workshop is being run by National Arts Fundraising School Deputy Director Jules Bellingham – also a Senior Partner Consultant at The Management Centre (=mc). If you have any questions about the workshop, call Anna Esslemont on 020 7978 1516 or email a.esslemont@managementcentre.co.uk.
