Welcome to Introduction to Green Cleaning Solutions!
The River Ravensbourne runs through Brookmill Park to join the Thames a quarter of a mile away. Water from the area was regarded as the "gold standard of water purity" in 19th Century London. It remains an important source of water today.
Join the Friends of Brookmill Park and the Art of Zero Living Refill Shop, for an introduction to green cleaning materials, recipes and tips that work. Learn how to make your own cleaning preparations and stop toxic household chemicals from going down kitchen and bathroom drains.
Inspired by green cleaning star, Nancy Birtwhistle and her book Clean and Green, this is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the health of you and your household and the planet's waterways.
The session will be held in the Park Hut and runs from 10.15-12.30.
Refreshments will be provided.
Using simple ingredients, you will learn how to make:

And gain tips for how to use:
