About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Everyone experiences grief and at some point will support those who grieve. Nevertheless, grief is often misunderstood and the support offered is inadequate. Rather than embracing it as a profound human experience, we treat it as a problem to solve, leading to misconceptions about the way people should or should not grieve.

We invite you to the workshop space where we will introduce you to the topic of grief.

During the workshop:

  • We will explore what grief is, what factors influence it, and how it feels to grieve
  • We will discuss
models for understanding grief and explore whether it has a time limit
  • We will discuss how
to shape a supportive, understanding, and empathetic attitude toward grieving
individuals and how to take care of ourselves in this role.

All are welcome.

Delivered by: Katarzyna Borowczak - Grief Educator
