Welcome to our Introduction to Hand Stitching and Embroidery! Join us at The Hub, The Glades, Bromley on July 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM for a fun and creative, free workshop.
Learn some basic hand stitching that will help with everyday sewing repairs and progress to more creative and artistic embroidery stitches. Explore the texture, colour and form using stitches with our expert Gerlinde.
This is a relaxed drop in session so we are happy for children to come along after school to pick up these essential life skills.
We look forward to discovering what you do with your accquired skills. Where will you use them? You could upcycle a shirt with decorative edging or repair a hole in something with the gorgeous pinwheel stitch, the options are endless.
We regularly take photographs at our events to support us explaining what we do, and keep our funders informed. If for any reason you would prefer not to have your image included, please discuss this on arrival with the event leader
An adult must remain in The Hub with primary school aged children. Secondary school children can attend independently. Parents can sit in the sofa area at the front of the Hub while waiting for children.
