About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

What is Heritage Network? Who are our members? What do we do for them? What makes us different from other national heritage organisations? Should your organisation join? Should you recommend people to join? Could you be working in partnership with us? Join this webinar to find out.

Who should attend?

  • People thinking about, or in the process of, forming a group to rescue and re-use a local heritage building, structure or space
  • Community organisations thinking about taking on, or have already taken on, a historic building or garden
  • Established organisations managing historic sites, who are not yet members
  • Businesses that work with the heritage sector
  • Professionals from funders and partner organisations
  • Local authorities considering the future of their local heritage assets

Following the event we hope that you will have learned enough about the Network to want to join us or to refer any new contacts to us.

Heritage Network (formerly Heritage Trust Network) is the UK membership body for not-for-profit organisations that are rescuing, restoring and managing historic buildings, structures and spaces. Our members have delivered successful heritage projects against all odds. We operate throughout the United Kingdom, drawing together and supporting the work of local heritage charities, community organisations and social enterprises.

We provide an invaluable platform for members for knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer support and skills development. Our guidance helps groups throughout the lifetime of their project, from startup to managing their restored site. The Heritage Network also gives this extraordinary grassroots movement a united voice, representing their views to government and funding bodies.
