About this event

This training is a basic introduction to the energy systems that we’re increasingly seeing in our homes, and how they can combine to play a part in making our homes smarter and greener.

During the webinar we will explore the following aspects of home energy:

Smart meters, dynamic pricing and smart tariffs

Solar Photovoltaic


Electric Vehicles

Heating Systems

Water Heating

Integration of home energy systems.

This event will take place via Zoom, and a registration password link will be sent in a separate email upon ticket confirmation.

This webinar is aimed at householders interested in the changes to home energy systems and development of smart technologies for domestic use, Carbon Co-op members, Housing Associations and Cooperatives.

At the close of the training, our aim is that all participants will have gained a better understanding of how to harness emergent domestic smart energy systems and the next steps in applying these within their own homes, and organisations.

Based in Greater Manchester, we are a community energy organisation working to assist our members and the wider community to make large, significant reductions in their home enegry usage. Our work encompasses activities such as whole house retrofit, smart grid technologies and householder training programmes.
