About this event

Dr Victoria May and Havencare Homes and Support are excited to offer the Introduction to HuFTI Supervision Training for Supervisees – now available in the UK for the very first time. Underpinned by human factors and trauma informed principles, this half-day workshop provides a much-needed foundation in HuFTI-informed supervision practices, equipping supervisees with the tools to engage in the supervision process more confidently, collaboratively, and beneficially.

The session will cover legislation; why supervision has struggled to find standardisation, importance, and accountability; barriers to and benefits of effective supervision; why supervision is needed for workers in the social care sector; what is and what is not effective supervision; what skills we need to become more involved in the supervision process as supervisees; the opportunity to share your own supervision experiences; and a chance to practice and observe a HuFTI Supervision.

Whether you're new to supervision or seeking a more meaningful and empowering experience, this unique training is your gateway to becoming an informed and active participant in trauma-aware professional development.

Join us and be part of a pioneering movement in supervision practice!

Please arrive for 1pm to start the session promptly at 1.15pm
