About this event

When improving the energy efficiency of homes, insulation and ventilation must be considered together. Poor ventilation can lead to condensation, mould, and damage to the building fabric - even when insulation is improved.

This introductory session will explain the key principles behind combining insulation and ventilation to achieve better indoor air quality and protect the building. We'll provide an overview of:

  • External Wall Insulation (EWI)
  • Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)
  • Cavity Wall Insulation
  • Roof and Underfloor Insulation
  • Ventilation strategies

Ideal for those new to retrofit or looking to build confidence in specifying and understanding these measures.

This event will be hosted online on Microsoft Teams and a link to join the event is included on Eventbrite.
