Introduction to Kintsugi Workshop
Join us for an Introduction to Kintsugi workshop, where you’ll discover the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold resin. Kintsugi celebrates imperfections, transforming cracks and flaws into something even more beautiful and meaningful than the original.
In this hands-on session, you will use a pin hammer to carefully crack a ceramic pot, embracing the idea that brokenness is part of its story. Repair your piece using gold-coloured epoxy resin, a fast-curing and accessible material that allows you to create stunning results.
The session will also explore the philosophy behind the art, reflecting on how it can serve as a powerful metaphor for resilience, healing, and self-acceptance in our own lives.
All materials are provided and you will leave with a truly special piece of art to treasure forever.
Please note: ticket cost includes booking fee. If you find you can no longer attend and require a refund, Eventbrite fees will automatically be deducted.
