Event description
Knit your own Hat or Headband

About this event

As the nights get a little darker and the air a little colder, now is the perfect time to learn to knit a garment that will keep you warm over the coming months. This is also a great way to meet new people and make some knitting friends.

Starting on the 16th October, we will begin knitting either a headband or hat; the choice is yours! I will teach you the basic knitting stitches and abbreviations commonly found in patterns that will help you in your new craft. We will be following the patterns together over two weeks in the warmth of the cafe.

Each participant will be given a knitting kit that consists of two knitting patterns, yarn, knitting needles and notions.

The yarn for the headband is a mixture of Wool and Alpaca. The yarn for the hat is 100% Peruvian wool. If you would like to learn but have an allergy to wool, please let us know asap as an acrylic kit can be made for you.

Looking forward to meeting you!
