Creating Space For You (CIC) is able to offer a limited number of bursary places for charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises to take part in 2 days training on an introduction to leadership.
This course will suit staff, volunteers, senior managers and trustees involved in the voluntary sector, who have an interest in supporting development within their organisation. You may or may not have had leadership development input before. This experiential course will give you a different perspective and tools that you can use straight away, regardless of the size of your organisation.
Your leadership skills, and that of the whole sector, will be tested and called upon as never before over the next few years. This course will equip you with techniquest that will support you and your staff during this time of tremendous change.
Topics will include:
- Leadership principles that are important at every level within an organisation
- Thinking Win-Win
- Listening and curiosity for understanding
- Taking care of yourself
- Developing relationships
- Creating synergy
Staff from other sectors are welcome to take part, and all will benefit from learning from each other.
The standard price for this training is £400 and bursaries are available for £300 for voluntary organisations (75% discount). Smaller organisations can get in touch if they are not able to afford £100 or if organisations have multiple staff they would like to attend.
As our work encourages people from different sectors working together, we are currently offering our standard ticket price to other sectors for £200 (50% discount). Smaller companies can get in touch if they are not able to afford £100 or if companies have multiple staff they would like to attend.

Creating Space For You is a Community Interest Company, incorporated in November 2010, which delivers coaching, training and development. We decided to form a CIC (Community Interest Company) to reflect our socially rooted aims and objectives.
We passionately believe in the capability of organisations, individuals and communities to develop and progress. Our aim is to work with others to make this a reality.
We enable this by focussing on the following objectives.
· Design and deliver accredited and non-accredited training courses, coaching and development opportunities to organisations, individuals and communities
· Facilitate network meetings, partnership working and contribute skills to collaborative projects that benefit the community
· Offer advice and guidance and coaching to help individuals progress
· Involve volunteers in our work
· Adhere to our values in all we do
