Meet the Head of Learning Enrichment at Thomas’s College, Catherine Marchant. This webinar is an opportunity to hear more about Learning Enrichment (sometimes called SEND or SENCO in other schools) at Thomas’s College including our approach and ethos. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and the webinar will be recorded and made available afterwards.
Catherine originally trained as an English teacher, and then whilst working in a specialist school for students with specific learning difficulties developed a keen interest in working with students with Dyslexia. She went on to achieve her Level 5 Postgraduate Certificate before completing her Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Dyslexia and Literacy, enabling her to complete professional assessments. She also has a Master’s Degree in Special Education (Distinction) from the Institute of Education, London. Catherine has a wealth of experience in teaching students with learning differences, having been a SENCO in both mainstream and specialist schools for a number of years. Catherine leads the Learning Enrichment team at Thomas’s College.
