Introduction to Lino-Cut Printmaking

Introducing the very satisfying process of Lino-Cut printmaking.
Learn the basics of this traditional relief printmaking technique.
Explore motifs and designs to celebrate Autumn, or your own design ideas if you prefer!
Your tutor, artist Tamsin Loveday, will guide you through the design process, introduce you to the materials, instruct you on safe use of the carving tools, support you to roller ink onto your carved plate and encourage you to print a small edition of your design.
Tuition and materials are provided in very small groups allowing plenty of 1:1 attention.
Eventbrite fees and taxes are not included in the ticket price.

Held in the Barefoot Bindery Studio, upstairs at Fisherton Mill, Salisbury.
Refreshments are available from the excellent Gallery Cafe where workshop participants can benefit from 20% off lunchtime food.
Tamsin Loveday is a practicing Artist, Bookbinder and Creative tutor with a passion for paper, print and book arts. She owns Barefoot Bindery, making beautiful books in her studio at Fisherton Mill. Tamsin advocates for creativity for wellbeing and regularly facilitates creative workshop experiences to help you reconnect with your inner creative spark. She is also a trained Mental Health First Aider.
