Introduction to Lino Printing - One block colour

Come join for a fun and creative workshop where you'll learn the basics of lino printing! This hands-on event will take place at Pannal Village Hall in 'The Studio'. The cost of the course will include lino cutting equipment for each student and a decent amount of paper and ink. The session also includes tea/coffee and cake to keep you going!

This session is perfect for beginners and a great way to explore a new art form and create your own unique prints to take home with you at the end of the session. To ensure everyone has time for guidance throughout the session, the course will have a maximum of 12 people. Prior to the course I would advise having a think about the image you would like to linocut - this could be a favourite building, bird, landscape, flower etc. The session will follow your own pace with time to create up to two different lino cuts.

If you need to cancel your place on a course please get in touch. Cancellations up to two weeks notice will be offered a place on the next session you are able to make or a refund of 50% of the session fee. Unfortunately, I am unable to offer refunds if the period of notice given is less than two weeks.

The course will be run by Chloe Temple, an artist and illustrator based in Harrogate who has been printmaking for the past 10 years.

Get ready to carve out designs, ink up your blocks, and print your own masterpieces and hopefully meet some like minded people for a chat over a slice of cake!
